Command Yandri Susanto, Commander of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, stated that there is still enough time to win the number two pair in Banten. The TKN, including the Banten Regional Campaign Team (TKD), can work together to support Prabowo-Gibran.
Yandri, also Deputy Chairman of PAN, advised the TKD Banten to protect the people from being easily influenced by sweet promises from certain presidential and vice-presidential candidates. He said not to be influenced by meaningless words.
“We still have enough time to ensure that the people of Banten do not make the wrong choice. Don’t be swayed by meaningless words. There is a presidential candidate who likes to string words together, without any real work,” said Yandri in Serang, Banten, on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
According to Yandri, Jokowi’s joining with Prabowo in 2024 makes winning on February 14 not so difficult. However, he said that it still requires hard work from all parties.
He also indirectly criticized the Chairperson of PDIP Megawati Soekarnoputri and PDIP in front of the officials, legislative candidates, and coalition party members.
“In Banten, on average, people don’t want that political party to win. If Jokowi joined forces with Megawati, it would be difficult to defeat them,” Yandri, who is also the Deputy Chairman of MPR, said.
“But now, with Prabowo and Jokowi forming an alliance, I think that spirit needs to be taken on by you,” said Yandri.
He said that TKN wants Prabowo-Gibran to win in the first round of the 2024 presidential election. This is because it can save state funds that can be used to develop the country.
He also believes that the votes for Prabowo-Gibran are already above 50 percent. His hope is that they can achieve 60 percent of the votes on February 14, 2024.
“Everyone is great in Banten, who doesn’t know Bu Airin, who doesn’t know Bu Iti, they are all top-notch,” he said.
“I think it’s not someone great leading the campaign team on the other side, how could we lose, ladies and gentlemen,” he added.
