Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, who has been elected as the president for the period of 2024-2029, has urged the voters, supporters, and volunteers of Prabowo-Gibran to prioritize the unity and unity of the Indonesian nation by not conducting mass activities at the Constitutional Court (MK) building.
“I, Prabowo Subianto, earnestly request to the Indonesian people, especially the 96.2 million Indonesian citizens who have voted for the Prabowo-Gibran pair, not to take any actions in front of the MK building or elsewhere to maintain the tranquility of democracy, preserve the unity and integrity of the nation,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo stated that he understands the accusations made by others, but he urged all his supporters to remain calm and peaceful.
“We understand that the supporters of Prabowo-Gibran are truly disturbed and have quite touching reactions, but we ask the supporters of the Prabowo-Gibran pair who have exercised their voting rights to always be cautious and careful and not to be provoked, especially by parties that create a non-peaceful and unrestful atmosphere,” said Prabowo.
By restraining themselves and not reacting, according to Prabowo, it does not mean showing weakness, but rather prioritizing the interests of the people and the nation to maintain the unity and integrity of Indonesia.
“I emphasize again, let us stay calm, cool, restrain ourselves, and let the institutions allow the judges of the Constitutional Court to carry out their noble duties wisely by always prioritizing the interests of the nation and the Indonesian people for the sake of the beloved Indonesia,” concluded Prabowo.
